Child Welfare Workers Charged in Death of Girl, 4 - District Attorney wants to look at 'systematic failures' in system
The details are not clear in the article. But I do know that in my city, child welfare caseworkers are grossly underpaid, overworked and have completely impossible caseloads. If they do not want to prosecute the mother, they should look to the agency or the city that funds the agency. Maybe this is the purpose of the case.???
